Thanks for the lyrics. It seems that most people are completely floored by this song. Its definitely a gem, but I'm more interested in hearing that third instrumental (the one with acoustic guitar and strings that plays upon visiting http://www.intothewild.com) with Ed's voice. If its a full song its gonna be unreal.

From previous descriptions of the soundtrack, I believe that the name of the song is GUARANTEED and that there is a version of it with lyrics that will be on the album. The humming version plays during the film. The lyrics version plays over the closing credits.
There are strings on this? The same theme played by strings is on the first piece of music that plays on the site.

I know there are a lot of Sleater-Kinney fans and haters on this board. I like them. Their harmonies on record are quite beautiful. "The Swimmer" off of All Hands On The Bad One is a good example, but I gotta say, while Ed's version of this "new" tune is really worthy of being placed on repeat, Corin Tucker's background vocals really help make it amazing. Those two sound incredible together on record. The unconventional snare sound is very cool and I also really like the distorted guitars that ring in towards the end of the song with the whammy bar -- its very Neil Young sounding. I like "No More," but this is 10 times better. This guy never ceases to amaze me.

Ed joined Sleater Kinney on stage during their last ever show sometime last year (maybe the year before), and Ed and Janet actually did a beautfiul cover of an old 50s song. I think i actually preferred it to Hard Sun actually, and that's saying something. Here's a link i found:

agreed... that's the one i'm most looking forward to hearing as well... definitely sounds like solo vedder... unless that's one of kaki king's songs?
