With some weirdo formatting that appeared when I tried to make a table of contents. Now I get these weird characters... like a backwards 'p'... showing up everywhere. I've done it once before but I don't know how I fixed it. Can anyone help me out?

i had done earlier, but i don't think that affected it. i really need to update, i switched computers and this computer's word is from fucking 2001.
