CLEARWATER - Police are investigating a car crash on Court Street approaching downtown. There are reports pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan's son was in the car and is hurt.
Witnesses say the yellow sports car careened out of control and hit a palm tree in the raised median of the four-lane road.
The wreck has shut down all traffic in both directions.
Paramedics and firefighters had to cut both occupants of the car from the wreckage. The car was destroyed by the impact.
The car reportedly belongs to Nicholas Alan Bollea, also known as Nick Hogan. He's one of the stars of the reality show Hogan Knows Best.
Nick is also a professional driver and is signed with Dodge on the professional drift circuit. He got his Formual Drift license in 2006.
the shame of this is he seems like a genuinely nice kid and isnt a spoiled douche like other celeb-family-kids

Apparently Nick was racing someone when this accident happened. Pretty dumb. Whoever the passenger was apparently has brain damage, and is still in critical condition, while Nick was released from the hospital this morning or something.
Between the lamborghini he blew up last year, and this, you've got to wonder what the hulkster was thinking.
Oh, and i stole this from another forum, but this whole thing really brings new meaning to:

That's what i figured happened. If this is true, i'm pretty sure that he could be held criminally liable for the passenger.

the real story here has nothing to do with Nick Hogan, he is ok. The guy who they hurt in the crash, who had nothing to do with him was a soldier home from Iraq who is in critical condition and may not live. I live not to far from this so the news around here isn't sympathetic with Nick Hogan at all they are more worried about who he hurt.

i'm pretty sure he's screwed. a lot of witnesses say he was dragracing another car and the police are either interviewing that person or looking for him. if this kid dies, hogan will get vehicular manslaughter.

In my silver Viper, I was driving from Miami to Tampa. I got pulled over going 107 [mph] and the guy let me off. He’s like, “Hey, I know who you are, just keep going, ya know.” Dude, I got back on the road and two minutes later I get pulled over going 113 [mph]. Another highway patrol from the same county said, “I just heard on the radio that my buddy pulled you over and let you go. I’ma let you go this time. It’s your second warning. You get pulled over again, you’re probably going to go to jail.” Three minutes later, [I was] doing 123 [mph] in a 50 [mph zone]. The guy is like, “Hey, I just heard you got pulled over twice in the last 10 minutes. I got to write you a ticket.”
Hate to say he deserved everything that happened to him, but.......

he deserves worse than what has happened. The victim most likely won't make it and he the Hogan kid will be just fine and most likely has a great lawyer who will get him a lighter sentence than he deserves. I'm pretty sure I heard of him getting in some crash where thankfully no one was hurt before he was even of legal driving age and nothing even happening to him.
Dad of passenger in Nick Hogan crash arrested after hospital brawl
St. Petersburg, Florida — The father of a passenger injured in Nick Hogan's car crash is under arrest tonight, after a "domestic brawl" with other family members at the hospital where his son is being treated, according to a St. Petersburg Police report.
Edward Graziano, 52, of Curlew Road in Dunedin, is charged with violation of a domestic violence injunction.
Graziano is the father of John Graziano, the passenger critically injured Sunday when a car driven by Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Bollea, also known as Nick Hogan, struck a tree in Clearwater. John Graziano is in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center.
Police were called to the hospital Thursday by Edward Graziano's wife, Debra, after a physical dispute erupted between her husband and other members of their family in a waiting room, police said. He left the hospital before officers arrived.
"Debra asked the officers to find Edward and serve notice to him of a domestic violence injunction that she had previously obtained against him, since he had never been served notice of it, which is required by law before its sanctions can be enforced by a law enforcement officer," said police spoksman Bill Proffitt.
"Officers researched Debra's domestic violence injunction and learned it had expired, and therefore, it could not be enforced. As a result, Debra Graziano contacted court officials later that day and renewed the domestic violence injunction against Edward," he added.
At the time, officers took no further action and classified the incident as a "domestic brawl."
Today, police again were called to Bayfront Medical Center and learned that Edward Graziano had violated the new domestic violence injunction.
Officers located Graziano at the Vinoy Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg and arrested him for Violation of the Domestic Violence Injunction. He was taken into custody without incident and brought to the Pinellas County Jail.
