The only one I know of is Conoalias (RM name). I'm not sure what his Synergy name was.

I think a lot of us here, if not most, once started at Synergy then to end up here. I know I did.

I think I posted twice at Synergy, but I didn't read it on a daily basis like I did RM before posting here. Synergy just seemed weird to me. Plus they didn't have anyone nearly as funny as Woodburn.

Yeah i think that's the case.

I had about 500+ posts a couple of years back, but i doubt i made enough of an impression for people to actually remember who i was there. It always felt like whispering into a hurricane at Synergy - it was hard to say something that would be remembered for more than like 4 hours. RM is a lot more relaxed.

I'm over there, just not often. I'm more active there when there's a new album. I like being here for the other bands forum.

I had my post count cut here when the change took place in 2005. I had thousands of posts. Both forums really, to say nothing of other web haunts.

yeah that place got to be a little too much...so far from what ive gathered here, this is much more relaxed

I think this is an incorrect statement. But it would be interesting to have a poll. I have been part of the PJ online community since 1996 and have never once posted on Synergy. I have probably been on that board less than 20 times in the past decade.

By Synergy, do you mean the Message Pit 10C runs or is it a different board altogether?

I think i started lurking here 1st but started posting there and then switched to here.
When it comes to Pearl Jam this one is more interesting in terms of discussions that are taking place and the humor going on all the time.
The message pit seems more of a socializing place than discussion place, at least the threads are more interesting here and needles to say more organized. I regularly read only the thread with my native language there, for anything else this fits me more.

I started out at Synergy and moved over here rather quickly. I still post the odd time over there but not as much as on RM.

i posted on synergy for years -- have several thousand posts on the current board (the one that started after the '03 tour) and had even more on the board before that. i stopped going on synergy several years ago, and really lost interest in the whole pearl jam message board scene -- however i've found i definitely prefer RM when it comes to reading, i just rarely see a need to post.

Not really... I registered there more out of curiousity about the community... then I decided to un-register- Synergy has alot of information but it is not the type of forum I would browse, for a few different reasons.

I kind of like it here... it is a smaller community & it is more organized.
