It's half like the top and half like the bottom, thus a single common delimiter does not work.
So I imported it all delimited by spaces, so it splits up the bottom half perfectly. The problem is, the top half has all the extra fields needed to split up the bottom.
so I have like 16 fields across, while the top half of the table only needs 2. I am trying to fix this by Querying to find the U9 and S08N for example and combine it in a new table, but I don't know how.
Any pointers, suggestions or anything would be a HUGE help.

I don't quite understand what you're trying to do... So you want them in the same table, but you want the rows to have different numbers of fields? I'm a little confused at your description.

Well I got around one of the problems lol.
My problem is for the second half. I am trying to split up all the data, into a new table. I want to make a new table with
Signal Connections FIGURE 1 SOL_HI_2-1 D87.2 R230.2 R234.2 M3.2
so I can easily compare a template setup to a recently altered setup to check for mistakes. At the moment, each piece of info is separated by a space is in a separate field.
So
Field1 Field2 etc *Signal* SOL_HI_2-1 etc
I am now trying to run through, via SQL, and assign the D87.2 R230.2 R234.2 M3.2 fields all under the Connection heading in the new table. Thus I have to append it all together ala Figure 1. I basically imported all this from a text file, parsed it up, then reformed it in a new table (minus the unnecessary information). This allows me to compare this to an altered table really easily(once it's built). I don't know if it makes any sense to anyone reading this now I am pretty far into this and it's becoming quite jumbled.

Generally, database software should be used for database application. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but it doesn't exactly sound like it's a database...

I don't know that a database is the best way to do that. For one thing, a database has no concept of order. How are you going to make sure you're comparing the right rows?
It'd probably be easiest to use a spreadsheet for this, since a spreadsheet actually has ordered rows. If you know the white space isn't going to change, you can just copy and paste the entire text into one cell, and paste the new text into another cell. Then, go to a third cell, and use the EXACT function to compare them.

It has to be automated, with a form gui upfront. I have a primary key set by access. The SQL works great for searching through the data... SELECT * kind of thing. It's just kind of difficult picking out some specifics, unfortunately. The bossman wanted it in access too. It's just alot more dynamic for this purpose.

It'd probably take no more than 20 minutes to write a program that compares the two files. Even a script that is run locally on a browser could do the job. I'm not sure if there's a way to automate what you're doing in Access, because Access is meant to do something completely different. It's like using a dishwasher to do your laundry.

The SQL script to compare the files is very straight forward. It's just a matter of getting the information into the stupid program and parsing some of it. As well as learning all of this lol.
