Those are among some of my favorites. I can't believe I was playing most of these at least like 8 years ago. I'm gonna have to revisit this. I need to get my ps2 modded. I bet the graphics look like shit now.

I played through FFVII again this summer, it was well worth it. Still a great, great game. I even beat the weapons this time.

I feel like a lot of PSone and N64 games have not held up well, but some of those you posted still kick ass.

Looking back, I really wish I got a PSX instead of the N64.

They really haven't. I have a hard time going back and playing some of my old PS1 games since they're so hard to look at.

Ouchies! For someone with many commitments at the time your dedication is impressive. 8 is my all time god though. I should try to beat that Cunt Weapon in the palace one of these days. Omega or Ultima? I think Omega is always superior, but I can't really remember. Yeah his head is mine.

My first disc was fucked and I was so unsettled that I never got around to replacing it. Nowadays I'm a whore for graphics lalz, so it's likely i'll never play it. Lame of me.

And yeah the underwater weapon can suck a dick. *THROWS TOYS OUT OF COT*

it is so easy to level your characters up to level 100 in FF8 it is almost cheating, seriously. The weapon is a little tougher, but if you have like, 2 Holy Wars you shouldn't have a problem. Make sure you have Squall's last weapon though, because his final limit break (Lionheart) does something like 100,000 damage when all is said and done

Junctioning = evil

The only reason I didn't like junctioning was because it WAY overpowered you. Like, ridiculously so. 99 hastes to speed + haste and attack about 3 times per second
99 ultimas to strength
99 triples or doubles to anything

oh man flood of memories

I remember running around some godforsaken island in the middle of nowhere looking for blitzkrieg to get power generators every time I played (for Lionheart I think, or a certain weapon).

For me it just became very tedious stockpiling all that stuff.

It was a cool idea though, and the game was pretty, but the storyline...yech.

I don't remember the storyline of any long-term game I beat on ps1. Come to think of it...same with ps2.

Still one of the best. I was heartbroken once I owned every record, trophy, secret track, racing class and vehicle. Played this one till I got seizures.
