jesus wtf is wrong with Bob Saget? everyone always told me hes this hilarious dirty comic, so I watched about 20 minutes of that crapfest saturday night

all he did was curse at the audience. thats it. no jokes, no punchlines, just him cursing. and he spoke like he was some retard with ADD. what an unfunny prick Bob Saget is.

I saw bits and pieces of it. I have no problem with him cursing, but the entire thing seemed like one long, very thin bit about how he's just the opposite of the character he played on Full House. The whole tourette's thing got old. He doesn't tell jokes so much as string together mildly amusing anecdotes amid every crude idea in the world. Its funny, but certainly not for an entire hour.

I was unimpressed too. I laughed a couple of times but I've forgotten what at. Too bad, I liked his bit in The Aristocrats and heard good things too... :shake:

After a childhood that demanded I watch Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos every week, there is no way in hell I'm ever watching Bog Saget again.

The only thing I found funny was the story about him and Stamos screwing with the kid in the bathroom, going into their Full House characters. That I found hysterical, the rest of it was pretty bad.

There were a bunch of references to her (search YouTube for the "Danny Tanner Is Not Gay" song), but the only one I remember distinctly is how he fingered her ass while she was high on NyQuil. A joke...I hope.

I've seen Bob Saget's last name spelled so many different ways of wrong, but never his first. Bravo, Koufax!

Yeah, I guess his stuff is pretty transparent schtick, but he comes across as a really genuinely nice guy. Even when he's cursing a blue streak with audience members, it's like he's really appreciative that they're there to see him. Which he should be.

Don't get me wrong. I won't be buying or renting his DVD. The only standup DVDs I own are that of Robin Williams and the incomparable Lewis Black, and it'll probably stay that way until someone releases Jim Carrey's Unnatural Act on DVD.

That queer Saget doesn't deserve to have his name spelled correctly.

From what I could find, Lewis has only two DVDs. One is called "unleashed", put out by comedy central. It's good, cos it has few different shows on it, but a lot of the material is from his CDs, plus he uses no profanity.

The other one is "Black On Broadway", and it's just fucking hilarious. All new material, and Lewis is just as animated as ever. One of the DVD chapters is titled "Moo Cow Fuck-Milk".
