i just recently was listening to TOOL's salival again, and found no quarter to be kcufing amazing. so i decided that this would be my fav cover of all time:

I am a gigantic Led Zep fan. I've been listening to the music since middle school, and have 150 live cd collection.
One of my roommates is a Tool fan and when he played me their version of No Quarter, I had nothing to say for the next few minutes. My mind went blank because I admitted something I had long doubted without hearing it:
Tool's cover of No Quarter blows the original out of the water.
It really does. It's almost as if Tool formed as a band after hearing NQ. They were made to cover that song. Sorry for being dramatic, but to this day, I still can't believe it.
