No Ceiling has leaked as well. I'll put up lyrics tomorrow if no one else gets around to transcribing them before then

Thoughts? I'll write more tomorrow but my intial reaction was that this one is very good and FAR too short. It culiminates with what feels like it should be the first chorus, rather than the end of the song. Great final lyric

i'm really hoping that these 2 minutes are snippets that are ripped from the movie and the full versions will end up on the soundtrack.

I'm really liking this song. There has to be more to it.

This is what I'm hearing:

---
Comes the morning
When I can feel
That there's nothing left to be concealed
Moving on a scene surreal
No, my heart will never, will never be far from here

Sure as I am breathing
Sure as I'm sad
I'll keep this wisdom in my flesh
I leave here believing more than I had
And there's a reason I'll be, a reason I'll be back

As I walk the hemisphere
I got my wish to up and disappear
I've been wounded, I've been healed
Now for landing I've been, for landing I've been cleared

Sure as I am breathing
Sure as I'm sad
I'll keep this wisdom in my flesh
I leave here believing more than I had
This love has got no ceiling
---

I'm really wondering if these are just clips. The times are 1:29 and 1:31. That seems like a bit of an odd way to open up the first two songs on an album. At this rate, the other songs on the album would have to average around 4 minutes each to get to the 33 minutes we've been told the album lasts.

These lyrics, stip?

I've been wounded, I've been healed

I freakin' LOVE this whole little ditty. The instrumentation is just killing me. Even on this crappy recording the instruments sound out of this world.

Live would we have Stone and Mike with banjos?

stone will be on banjo. Mike will end the song wtih a blistering 8 minute guitar solo

I was referring to the last two lines.

I leave here believing more than I had
This love has got no ceiling

Lyrics about love are VERY hard to write well since it is so prone to cliches to begin with and so much has been written. But I like this one a lot. Parachutes had that really great line too (I would have fallen from the sky until you/parachutes have opened now). twice in two years. My hat goes off to you eddie

I like your point about the lyrics. Maybe because they are meant to represent the character, all of the lyrics are different from anything Eddie has ever written for Pearl Jam, even on No Code.

You forget I love live solos. I'm a self-indulgent (and boring) soloist myself.

But how about an 8 minute BANJO solo from Mike? I think that would take us out of 62strat's comfort zone.

I'll try anything once. And the john popper harmonica even flow solo from randall's island in 96 was pretty cool

This is an incredible song. More that any of the others, I wish this one were longer. The arrangement and instrumentation are so original, and it has so much room to grow. FAR BEHIND is a very good choice to follow it. If any of these are played at BSB, how likely is it that Eddie will expand them for live performances?
