tivo sucks! or my pc does... i transfered the vid to my pc and i cant figure out how to play it or convert it...the converters i found didnt work and its in .tivo format so it wont play w/o the proper mpeg2 codec which i thought i had... and its too big to upload to yousendit for someone else to figure out... im still working on it...
it was a pretty nice interview w/ penn, hirsch, carine and westerberg...not all at once...different segments and they showed pix of mccandless and the bus that ive never seen before....
any info on getting tivo transfers to work please let me know

How long it is?. I think youtube has a 10 min time limit or something. I haven't done any video encoding and resizing in a while but i remember tmpgenc being a good encoder.

Thanks for posting that. It was great to see. I'm reading the book now before the movie. I hadn't seen an image of McCandless until this video, but coming from essentially the same area as he did in Northern Virginia, there's something eerily familiar about his face that I can't put my finger on. Weirds me out.

I assume this youtube link worked at some point based on the posts, but now it just keeps loading forever and never plays. Anyone having luck lately? Someone put a comment on the youtube page as well saying they haven't been able to get it to play.
