I can't imagine how badly dorm life would suck

None of the guys on my floor took kindly to my posting of political manuscripts. Why no love for Malcolm X in an almost entirely white school? I just don't get it.
It also amazed me on how relatively few people flunked out considering the almost complete lack of schoolwork I saw being done in the dorms.
I lived in the dorms at UMass Amherst for 1 year, then I failed the fuck out. Good times though.
what dorm? i went there.
In the 03/04 schoolyear I lived on the 18th floor of John Adams in the Southwest area. I was there for the red sox riots.
Cool, I was there for those riots too. I lived up in Orchard Hill that year and then I lived in Mackimmie in Southwest the next year. Wouldn't be surprised if I've seen you there.

Cool shit, a friend of mine lived in O Hill at that time too. John Adams was the shit. Me and two of my friends stole a shit load of printer paper once, spent a day smoking weed and writing random shit on them. Then we took the whole pile and threw it out the 18th story window.

I had this ultra-Christian RA my freshman year and my roommate and I were the guys in the dorm that always threw the party, he wrote us up a bunch of times. My soph year, my RA used to offer to smoke everyone up.

My RA was cool but also paranoid and by the books. She'd call the cops when I smoked and the hallway smelled, but then she'd knock on my door and tell me the cops were coming so I could grab my shit and get the fuck out of the building.

OHill was pretty tame when I was there, so whenever my friends and I were doing anything, we got everyone's attention. THe RA's hated us there. Lots of crazy shit happened there, like couches going off 7th floor balconies.
