It is difficult to imagine a more complete collapse than the one the United States suffered in a 4-0 defeat to Brazil on Thursday in the semifinals of the Women’s World Cup in China.

What an idiot move by that coach. Not sure if a different goalie would have helped but thats a terrible move right before such a big game.

Yes, putting in Briana Scurry was retarded especially when they had a hot goalie playing well but the bottom line, the US womens team looked like shit. They were outplayed by a Brazil team who has been waiting for this chance since the olympics.

Yeah I watch womens soccer sometimes...so sue me. It was on when I was getting ready to work.

Dance with what brung ya is the applicable cliche here.

Also, this was an awful call, and Cristiane (the one celebrating it there) can eat shit and die.

Yeah Seriously, I mean I saw the final score and I was like "WTF?" then I saw that he pulled Solo for Scurry, and it was a "DOUBLE WTF?"

Terrible, terrible move.

I fucking hate girls bawling eyes out after sports matches. They do it ALL THE TIME.

I won't say anything sexist like remain in the kitchen but please know i'm thinking it.

to be honest, i'm pretty indifferent to the sport. however, i read the article, and was amused by the comments. they mostly consisted of idiots turning it into one way or another about the united states sucks and how americans will never 'understand FOOTBALL'. glad to see some people finally had something to be happy about.

I'm offended that the rosters for the women's team don't include their weights.

One of the players on our national team said that Martha was better than Ronaldinho

congrats to Germany

the brazilian girls deserve all the good things in the world

they receive a minimum support here, our football confederation doesnt give a shit about them, and since 1996 they're getting good results

we dont have a national league

its brilliant what they are doing without a support

Well, it's pretty hard to say Germany didn't deserve that title.

Well done Brazil. I loved watching them.

With the exception of Cristiane, who's a piece of shit, I can do nothing but applaud the performance of Brazil, even though they fell short in the end. The improvement over the last 4 years alone is quite amazing.

you are mad because of the bad call on the usa game and her reaction
but thats the way most players would react in a such difficult game :)
