So, I saw Ken Burns say this on Bill Maher and frankly I don't believe it. Does anyone know where he got this information? Really, there is no way this is true.

This sounds like horseshit to me. Even the stupidest of the stupid kids in my high school knew that the Nazi's were the enemy.

There was a Newsweek write up about the series a week or two ago. It mentioned a poll that found like 20% of high schoolers thought we did fight the Russians with the Germans. I don't think it sited the source of the poll.
Pretty good doc from what I've seen of it.
