BUT... has this been mentioned?

Was at the Shoreline (Mountain View, CA) Dave Matthews Band show on Saturday 09/29/07 and... low and behold, the music played between the opening band (Stephen Marely) and DMB"s set was exclusively Pearl Jam.

When I got to my seats, I got to hear some of the rockers from Vitalogy (STBC, Tremor Christ, Whipping, Corduroy, SATAN'S BED!!) and then a few from VS. (Go, Animal. and then...) AND THEN... this was a trip.

Dave took the stage to the opening rifts of Glorified G. It was SO COOL.

Today in a movie in Physics class, a guy had a poster up that said "Pearl Jam strikes back" with a picture from around when Riot Act came out.

That was the case at DMB's Alpine Valley show I was at in August.

There's quite an inter-twining of PJ and DMB fans, for whatever reason. They are completely different bands but, hey, who else from the early to mid-90's is still touring a lot?

Anyhow, as relates to House music, my friend forwarded me these:

Apparently, PJ, Sublime, and JJ are and have been in heavy rotation as the "house music".

According to my friend, who has been to over 35 DMB shows, he's "surprised they haven't worn a whole through the vitalogy CD yet."
