Yup, ya hear all about how the Pats have basically accomplished this goal already even though we're only 4 games into the season. Oh how we forget the 2nd half collapse, 21-6 lead at halftime of the AFC Championship game last year. Brady shit the bed in the 2nd half and the vaunted Pat defense couldn't stop the Colts . 32 points in the 2nd half...ouch. I think the Colts have an easier run at 16-0(not like they would care unlike the team lead by Mr. Cheater himself).
Colts schedule: TB @ IND Ind @ Jack Ind @ Car NE @ IND IND @ SD KC @ INDY INDY @ ATL JAC @ INDY INDY @ BALT INDY @ OAK HOU @ INDY TENN @ IND
pick a loss there. Vegas won't have them as underdog in any of those games. 16-0 looks easy. But it doesn't matter anyway, we'll defend the title

It's so adorable that you're bothered by the Patriots getting all the early season hype instead of the Colts for once.
Didn't your team just win a championship?

yeah, that's why it's hilarious. The Pats can blow out all the crappy teams they want, the Colts are still the champs and have whipped the Pats ass or embarrassed them the last couple times they played. My little rant isn't gonna stop the press from sucking the Pats dick. I'm just pointing out the obvious and am gonna laugh in a couple of months.

At least you'll get a nice draft pick in the first round.
big fucking deal brother. so they can pick another Jimmy Kennedy? Robert Thomas? Damion Lewis? this team couldnt evaluate football talent in Joe Montana danced on their coxes
Since the day Dick Vermeil and Charley Armey left town this franchise has been garbage, top to bottom, and it only gets worse from here. One day that shriveled up old bitch owner will finally die and the team might be sold to someone who WONT consult a crystal ball to run the show
now, sorry to take over a colts thread. go Colts!

Pete Prisco is in your corner at CBSsportsline, and I love Freddie Kieaho.... but last year the Pats didn't employ one pro level WR either now they have 3 and Randy Moss is one of them. I just don't see these guys wetting thier pants like Reche Caldwell did last year.
no matter how good the Pats look....you almost have to back the Colts until the Patriots beat them. What is it...three consecutive times the Colts have beat them? And two of them were on the road.

Everybody knows the real Super Bowl is Colts-Pats. Again. I'd say whoever has home field will take it.
Watch out for injuries tho with Indy. Last week was brutal.

Pats/Colts is so reminiscent of Cowboys/Niners in the early 90's
And I think the Pats have the best chance of going 16-0. Yes, the Colts are the champs until they lose a game or two, but the Pats are clearly the best team in the NFL imho.
It's probably still too early to tell, but at this point you have to think the 'Boys have a much better chance of winning the SB than most NFC teams have of late.
the thing about the pats/colts rivalry is that there have been no real surprises. when the pats have had the better team they have won and when the colts have had the better team they have won. i'm pretty sure the pats have the better team again this year and that is most certainly a direct result of the playoff loss last year so you've got to take the good with the bad.

do i need to remind everybody that the Chiefs were 12-0 and went up against the cincinatti bungles, who were pretty bad back then, and then lost? You can lose to anybody in this league.

yes but i maintain that it can be done by somebody. i don't know why everybody thinks it's impossible. even a mediocre team like the 2004 steelers probably would have done it had they started roethlisberger from the beginning instead of maddux.

are you referring to 2003 when they were 9-0 under Vermeil?

yeah, i believe it was then. Could have sworn they went 12-0 before losing, but the point stands

Both teams are solid. But NE plays in a joke for a division. Indy's division might be the best in the NFL this year. I don't think either goes 16-0, one likely goes 14-2 and the other will be in the 13-3 or 12-4 range.
