I think we've had threads like this before, but I have no idea what keyword I'd to search. Plus I just don't feel like it. So
This is a world-famous, very difficult logic problem. It is said to be written by Albert Einstein early during the 20th century, although there is no concrete proof of this. He said that 98% of the world population would not be able to solve it:
There are five houses in a row and in five different colours. In each house lives a person from a different country. Each person drinks a certain drink, keeps a certain pet and drives a different automobile.
1. The Jeep driver is immediately to the left of the Audi driver. 2. The tea drinker is in the middle house. 3. The dog owner is the Ukrainian. 4. The milk drinker drives the Audi. 5. The Norwegian is the first house on the left. 6. the one in the green house drives an VW. 7. The horse owner is next to the green house. 8. The spaniard is in the yellow house. 9. The fox owner is a good chess player. 10. The water drinker is the Korean. 11. the OJ drinker is a good chess player. 12. The one in the red house drinks coffee. 13. The Englishman drives a Pontiac. 14. The Norwegian in next to the Lexus driver. 15. The quial owner is next to the blue house. 16. The zebra owner is in the ivory house
So by nationality, tell me of each what color house, what pet, what drink and what car they drive.

just by reading it it's obvious that it would be almost impossible to solve in your head...therefore, I am not attempting it

Well yeah, I don't think it's expected to solved without writing stuff down. Anyway I caved and looked at the answer. Obviously it's not like an "OH DUH!" answer, it's just a technique of putting stuff into place.

They're obviously all black.
