I'm not sure how many Spurs fans there are around these parts (I may be the only one), but I figured I'd get the ball rolling for this season.

I've been a fan of this team since the Admiral days, so it's great to see them finally come into their own these last several years with such a great core group of guys and probably the best coach in the league behind the bench.

Let the dynasty continue!

I'd like to say an NBA team can give the Spurs a run for their money this season, but I'm betting whoever wins the East goes down to San Antonio in four or five games. But injuries, trades and other bologna can change that.

True. I think injuries could be the Spurs only real variable.

I'm hoping Ginobili manages to stay healthy this season as he was sidelined for parts of the last two.

And as much as I love the Spurs, I'd kind of like to see the Raptors be the ones to give them a run for their money. A Spurs/Raptors final that goes 7 games - a guy can dream, right?

I think you are right, the Spurs are getting older each year. As the core veterans age, injuries become a concern. I think they will do fine this year however. I'm looking forward to seeing them play this week. If you are looking for a dedicated phpbb Spurs forum, go to: http://www.saspursfanzone.com

not sure why they gave away Scola...but they're probably going to win it all again.
