i guess Ned Colletti went into the locker room o nthe last day of the year and in front of the players blamed the manager and coaches for the team finishing fourth. this didnt sit well with Fuckbubble, who took 2 weeks to see if he even wanted to return.
in the mean time, Colletti i guess sed fuck it and offered the job to Girardi and now to Torre.
this Colletti is a fucking nutjob. but either way, fuckbubble is no longer the manager, Joe Torre and Donnie Baseball are apparently in, and now if someone were to trade or murder Juan Pierre I just might cream my shorts!!!

Good news, friend. No team deserves Grady Little.

Ah, memories.
Congrats, you're going to love this offseason knowing that your team is no longer being run by a short-bus rider.

Yeah right. Grady "quit". I'm not buying it. This way Grady gets to go out w/ some dignity, the Dodgers don't look like assholes who were dealing behind his back, & Joe Torre still gets to look like the good guy. Either way, I don't care. Bring on Torre!

do the Dodgers need a catcher and a closer? I'm preparing myself for the worst case scenario this offseason...

nope. got Russell Martin, best young catcher in the game, and Saito is our closer, whos i think the same age as Mo and is working for about 2 mill.
I think the best part is having Donnie Baseball come along too. I cant imagine how much better james Loney is going to be under Mattingly's guidance. it almost makes me giddy. giddy i say!

A Rod would be a huge improvement over Betimit but then I guess he could play short too. LA does love stars.

the thought of Mattingly in another uniform is going to take some getting used to.
Torre will have the team playing hard...but you'll probably notice sometime around May that he has an odd way of managing a pitching staff. And it's not just his penchant for overusing certain guys...

you know, I dont even give a shit and heres why for all yankee fans who are telling me the same thing:
on more than one occasion (and I mean like 20 times last year) I watched as the Dodgers were losing a game, had runners on base in the later innings, 5th, 6th, and Grady lets the pitcher hit in that situation. The dodgers wouldnt score, and the very next inning the pitcher would get into trouble or give up runs and get pulled.
this happened in almost every late season derek lowe start and he did it with Brad Penny at least 3 times (to Penny's credit he got some big rbi's last yr)
Little was famous for taking a pitcher out WAY too early (i think he set Chad Billingsley back a full year) and leaving pitchers in, especially relievers, WAY too long.
a guy would start the 7th by walking the first batter and giving up 2 singles and a run and even then Little would hesitate to get anyone warming up, let alone change pitchers.
so in conclusion, Torre cannot possible do anything imaginable to the pithcing staff that would trump the horseshit Grady Little was known for. trust me.

Not to mention Kemp, Eithier, etc.

true, but i was looking at it like one first baseman to another
this is frustrating, waiting for this to become official. ESPN is reporting there is no deal, but both sides are "mutually interested"
lets fucking go already
