I went to see Nader at a rally in Cambridge, MA calling for withdrawal from Iraq and afterwards I got my picture taken with him! CHECK THIS OUT:
HAHA! HOW GREAT IS THAT?
I just got that bumper sticker I'm holding in the mail so I figured I'd bring it along to show people. Little did I know then it would end up in this picture... Nader got a laugh out of it. Well, I didn't really get to talk to him... they were rushing us thru the line so they could get to their next event which they were late for. But hey, I got this picture... you can bet I'm getting it framed!

Where is his left hand?
That is cool thought that you got to meet him. I know that you didn't get to talk to him really, but what is he like?
Hehe, I like the bumper sticker.

Congratulations. Red Mosquito is officially more perverted than the Message Pit. It took them four posts to notice the hand thing. You guys did it in just one. *round of applause*
The hand was on the desk. He had just signed my book. But I'll be honest, I don't know it was that far over.

The bumper sticker I had gotten in the mail that day, so I had my girlfriend put it in her bag so we could show it to a few friends that we met there. When I got in line to have Ralph sign my book, I thought it would be cool to have a picture taken with the bumper sticker.
They were rushing us thru the line pretty quick because they were late for their next event, which was a Patty Smith concert. The Zinn/Nader event started a 1/2 hour late because someone got caught in traffic (Zinn or Nader, I don't know). The only thing I said to him was "Hi Ralph, I'm Ken, good to meet you... do you like my bumper sticker?" He replied "Yeah" with a laugh. My girlfriend took the picture and I said 'thanks Ralph' or something like that and that was it. He signed the book "To Ken, For Justice, Ralph Nader"

I met him back in 2000 after a speech he gave.. didn't get a picture taken, but he's certainly a role-model of mine as well. Truly one of the most caring (and determined, for better or for worse) men out there. Keep on fighting the good fight, Ralph.

I figured that it was on the desk, but I was just checking.

All kidding aside, that is great that you had the chance to meet him and have your picture taken with him. Heh, I like how he signed the book.
