How awesome is the writing in this show? My favorite thing on TV right now, even better than this season's South Park.

I was so-so on this show the first two episodes (I felt it was a little too cute for its own good) but I'm so glad I stuck with it. It really is fantastic.

Choice quotes:

Chuck: (about John Joseph Jacobs) What if he changes when his blood sugar drops?
Olive: Like a hypoglycemic werewolf!

Ned: No, actually I want to talk about this. I could let it go, but like the cat, it will come back, which I wouldn't call annoying but, there's no really great way of saying half-annoying, which it is a little bit.

Emerson: Sounds like you're a narcoleptic.
Ned: I suffer from uncontrollable types of deep sleep?
Emerson: What's the other one?
Ned: "Acrophiliac".
Emerson: Words that sound alike get mixed up in my head.
Olive: Me, too. I used to think "masturbation" meant chewing your food. (awkward silence) I don't think that anymore.

Chuck: You're like Winnie the Pooh. Gimme your paws, Pooh.

Ned: I just thought my world would be a better place if you were in it.

Chuck: You won't even know I'm here.
Emerson: 'Cause you're leaving?
Chuck: No.

Ned: I made a choice and I'd do it again. I let Lawrence Schatz die and if i was faced with that choice right now I would make the same choice. You could put me in a loop and I'd make the same choice every time, that's how confident I am that it was the right choice for me to make. I'm sorry if that makes me a bad person, but... I'm not sorry that you're alive.

Definitely my favorite new show of the season, and probably my second favorite show out right now next to House.

This show is so 'full of win'. Apparently that's a catchy internet phrase the kids were using last year.

This shot form the xmas episode shows just how great the creative staff is:

Best movie reference in a TV show in a long time.

It's actually the exact same shot, same snow pattern and everything.

It depends, do like great acting, campy but fantastic art direction, beautiful intelligent women, and smart and funny dialog free from annoying catch phrases on a show which is just as good on a repeat viewing? If so, this is your kind of television.
