Sounds like there's loads of life in the old Dog Pearl Jam yet, great news don't you think?

You come from a 3rd world country. Is that a generic thing to say also?
Wow, hahahahaha. I imagine this quote is in reference to Into The Wild and what Sean Penn asked of Ed in recording the album. I hope that soundtrack re-energizes the band and its style of writing.

*wants another record like S/T*
Actually that's not true. I want another record as good as S/T. If into the wild helps him do that then great

That, my friend, is a fact.

Eddie said this the same thing about Avocado two hundred times already, now he recycles the same quote to every new project.

well I for one admire the economy of words he gets and the efficency of his thoughts. What have you done for the environment lately?

I don't recall Ed saying that S/T was written to a specific set of thematic demands and time constraints. Maybe Sean Penn was an uncredited producer on that as well.

Yeah, and he has never said this
It ended up to be a great exercise in writing. Our band is going to be better for it and from it, which I'm pretty excited about.
I guarantee you he hasn't said this before making a record. This isn't the "party line" they frequently use about how excited they are and it's going to be >insert adjective here<. The man rarely discusses his songwriting. He is talking about his own work and learning something about how to do it. What this really means for the band I have no idea. But it's good if he's excited. He's probably very excited about the songs he has right now.

If eddie is excited he should get his ass into the studio NOW or shut up about it.
