Which is a better LCD TV - Panasonic Viera, Samsung or Sharp Aquos?

I'm looking for a 32" model and i don't know shit about shit when it comes to these things...but they are all listed at $799.99. There has to be something that separates one from the pack.

Samsung regular 1099.99

Panasonic regular 999.99

Sharp regular 999.99

also keep in mind that i don't have a blu-ray or HD-DVD player right now and don't have any immediate plans to get one. i'll have an HD satellite receiver and a regular old DVD player.

if you're getting a 32 you don't need to go all crazy

i don't know if this link will work but i've compared 5 tv's that are all the same price. The Samsung and a Toshiba one both have 1080i, the rest max out at 720p. So the Samsung or Toshiba would be the best bet, amirite?

that's what i figured. i have a small living room and 32" is more than adequate. I'd just like to upgrade from my 21" piece of crap tube TV.

you don't need 1080p if your tv is smaller than 40 or so inches, 1080i is sufficient for 32"

How much better is the HD over normal Digital Cable.

Right now i've got a 42 inch plasma running Rogers Digital Cable and it looks good. Will I see a great increase by getting a HD box?
