I bought some TDK+R 8X discs yesterday for a B+P I need to send off. My question is will they still work on my burner which is 4X? They didn't have any 4X (at least name brand). Just curious because on the label it says "compatible with 8X burners or higher."
I know with CDR's you can burn at slower speeds. Is it the same with DVD's?

Thanks for any help.
i would assume they should be fine. it just means that they are 8x capable.
I bought a 50 pack of Fuji 8x dvd-r discs, only about half of them worked on my 2x burner. I'm not sure if it was the speed differenece or just low quality discs.
