Ive been a poster at the pearljam.com forums since June of 2004 and never had any issues.
Tonight a guy was referencing a really disgustingly graphic porn site and called it by the incorrect name so I corrected him and they took that as me posting porn videos and banned me forever. I even posted after the correct name "DONT GO THERE". I cant even lurk, or log out to log in as a new user.
I understand what I did was stupid, I just didnt even think of it- 100% my fault. But a permanent ban is very harsh. Over 700 posts and thats it- never get to view my old posts or keep in touch with the same people over there.
I emailed the admins right away apologizing for what I did but I doubt Ill hear back. Ban me for a month or something- but forever- cmon!
Hopefully my future here will be better...
