i've listened to it a few times and it seemed good. the song carrion is nasty. their new song atom is pretty good. their new EP just leaked and new album coming soon.

I downloaded the EP and like it a lot, already! Not many bands can make songs of over 9 minutes and still keep me interested

Decline of was fantastic... Open Season had a few great songs, but was a let down for me

this new EP is great though

Agree with solace about everything, just about. The Decline of British Sea Power is one of the finest releases this decade I think, incredible songs throughout. Open Season had a number of really great songs, but just wasn't as interesting. The Krankenhaus EP that just leaked is phenomenal, though, and if it's any indication, I think Do You Like Rock Music? (upcoming 3rd LP) is going to be hard to beat in 08.

yeh the album the decline of british sea power is great.. i remember downloading it because it had such a cool title. there song names are great too.

Yeah, Atom is one of the best songs of the year. Down On The Ground and Pelican are tremendous as well.

Yeah, Waving Flags is tremendous. I can't decide whether it's better than Atom or not, but it's fucking great either way so it doesn't matter.

Decline of is okay. Nothing amazing or remarkable. A lot of overused pop-rock structures and tones, but the ability is there and occasionally they move you.

Not sure how I let this band slip under the radar, I think I heard a few nerds gushing over it and I was turned off. Decline has some great tunes, Fear of Drowning in particular.

Krankenhaus EP is terrific, straight up rock.
