Through telephone polls of ribs dipping down
to the valley
of a navel

peace.

you have hardened
hiding in the crevasse between my eyelid and the bridge of my nose
you crept up on me last night while i slumbered
i'm bound to wander in this fog that you have created
i've fallen from the dizziness and i crumple under the weight
i know this is how you planned it
you like to watch me fumble for the light
you laugh and sneer as i tumble

from afar i gaze
here i am staring at your tracks
as i stare a blood red haze
i slice your body up with my axe
insanity is my plea
20 years is my sentence
to know you wont live anymore
that is my pennance
