Teeth is a black comedy horror film written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein. It premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival in the independent drama category. Lionsgate and The Weinstein Company picked the film up for a release sometime in 2007. The film prominently features the concept of vagina dentata.

This pretty much sucked. There were a few funny moments, and the gory scenes were okay, but it was boring for the most part. It really did have potential, but just wasn't executed very well.

I gotta disagree, this movie was pretty awesome. There was nice social satire going on in there with all the abstinence eduacation people, a hilarious premise that was well executed and the lead girl (Jess Weixler or something?) was actually a decent actress. Much better than all the other "Dimension Extreme" titles that have been coming out.

I gotta take back what I said. It certainly didn't suck, but it was far from great. I did laugh quite a bit, and Jess Wexler was very good in this, but the story just wasn't as good as it could have been. It was worth it for a Netflix rental, but I'll probably never see it again.

It was different and didn't go for total camp with it's premise which is what I was expecting. For that I give it points.
