I know this because my sense of smell is just insane right now, I can smell my parents' old furniture and it's really earthy

it could be anything, there could be mold in the heating vents. if its really really bad, you should get tested for different allergies and they can figure out what it is. i mean, if its making your life miserable.

i've been tested a few times, besides cats, it always comes up as "seasonal allergies"--(ragweed, trees, grass ect) usually as soon as it gets cold, they go away, thats why i am so pissed that its 30 degrees and they are still bothering me. I have tried all kinds of different allergy drugs and nasal sprays and nothing works. Benadryl kind of works but it makes me super hyper. Its been like this since i was a kid

claritin doesn't work at all (it helps a bit when i am around cats though), prescription stuff doesn't work either i am one of the few people that doesn't get tired from benadryl, (it knocks my son out in about 20 minutes) well hopefully it will stay cold now for a few days instead of this back and forth weather shit and then they will go away for good. thanks for the suggestions though
i used to have this horrible stomach problem (don't ask) and it would cause me to break out in full body hives and i'd have to take like 4 benadryls at once to stop them and it would honestly knock me out for hours.
