I decided I'm going to play through this series. I'm on the first one now.

How about those controls?...holy shit, haha. Good graphic detail for its time, though. I've never played RE4, but I hear it is easily the best in the series. It'll be a little while before I get there, though.

It was a long time ago, but I remember thinking 2 was a lot better than 3. Now I can play them both on Dreamcast instead of ps1, so that'll be cool.

don't know. i haven't burned the discs yet, but dreamcast had nasty graphics, so it has to look a lot better.

You really gotta wonder why they went with the "up is always forward" scheme. It's actually less realistic because no one moves like that, especially if zombies are attacking them.

Some sort of Syphon Filter strafe+lock on would've been great, for sure.

That was RE2, right? That was scary as fuck.

I have Code Veronica, which really isn't that great. RE4 is amazing; very cinematic with great graphics and gameplay.

I'm not sure what happened to them, but Syphon 2 was awesome for 2 player knife battles.

the original remade for the gamecube is the best. 4 just wasn't scary ever. i liked that the controls were really shitty. it made the game more realistic. i mean, if i saw a zombie i'd run into shit and fire my gun into a wall.
