Ok, guys i figure we have a little fun and somehow try and formulate what path the band may take in 05, I, after studying comments and old tour patterns by the band have come up with what I think will go down. I have no inside info, i know no band members, this is just for fun.
here is what i think
late june to early august -europe
break
September to Mid-october - U.s Leg 1 east coast
break
November to Mid-december - U.s Leg 2 west coast
break
Janurary - South America

I just realized, if they're touring for 9 months, starting in the summer, ... we're not getting Christmas singles until late 2006.

Don't forget the extra Canadian dates Jeff mentioned.
Do you think they'll do a little mini Canadian tour, or just incorporate them into the US tour like usual?
It'll probably be jammed into the U.S. tour. I agree with lowlight about the schedule. The only problem is for the people in cities that don't have big arenas. Those amplitheatres can be quite cold in December.

Then they must cancel the tour!
Don't be stupid. They can just stop touring the week of December 14th, record the single, press it, and be back on the road by Christmas Day.

They did it once, they can do it again. I'll be there this time though.
Alpine is a great venue, but if they come to Wisconsin any time after October 1, I think they ought to think about the Bradley Center.
Ooh. Or the new Milwaukee Theatre. Much smaller venue, 4000 capacity, very nice, very intimate. Saw Neil Young do Greendale there last winter and it was great. Maybe they could play two nights...

I think it's time for the band to completely omit the States for once, as punishment for having elected this guy last November.
I voted Kerry, but I would understand if Pearl Jam did this. I should have been out there driving people to the polls. I would accept my punishment like a man.

AMEN. we are so spoiled anyways. let the southern hemisphere have them. five shows in a row in Rio, and then they move around the continent at small clubs. we, the faithful, the core, all fly down to see those, boost the flailing airline industry, help the economy and in affect convincing bush that stealing another's oil is not the way to accomplish it. regardless of that plan, i still say FUCK OPEC.

I'm hoping for two summer nights in Alpine and then two more at Wrigley, now that would be awesome. But the chances of that are slim to none, and slim just left town

Mercury-Venus tour 2005!
Is it our fault that the U.S. produces kick-ass bands, and other countries are lagging behind?
