It's a .avi file, but it says .anivcd.avi

I have a mac, it won't play in windows media player or quicktime.

I know, I'm retarded.

Question numbre 2: How do I make this same file into a VCD so I can play it on my dvd player?

Ok. So I have this .avi file that I use VLC to play.

I want to convert it to mpeg 2.

Any advice?
