Well, here's the story:
Two nights ago, my boot file was deleted, it was an accident on my behalf, so I'll take the blame there. So I decided I'd do a System Recovery, which I've done who knows how many times now. Now, the Compaq System Recovery backs up all files, but this time I didn't have enough space for it to backup all my files, so I may as well have just done a fresh XP Install, because I've got nothing, bar what's on my USB (which is all school related, which is good) and my external, so all in all, I only lost my music (25gb of it) and a few other things, photos as such.
Anyway, ever since this I've had DRWatson Errors come up at times, this can be related to Explorer.exe problems through a Google search. Though I don't believe DrWatson Post Mortem Debugger would be any harm to my computer, it's only a debugger Microsoft use, it's certainly not a virus.
So randomly every 5-10 minutes if I go into My Documents or My Computer, or any directory on this computer, an explorer has unexpectedly ended error will pop up saying that it needs to close. The following is the entry that I get in Event Viewer:
Quote:
Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module , version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.
For those of you who may be able to solve this by me posting a HiJackThis log (through Google searching apparently this is solvable just through knowing HiJackThis logs) so here it is:
Quote:
Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.0 (BETA) Scan saved at 12:34:01 PM, on 7/12/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) Boot mode: Normal
Anyway, sorry for such a long post. I just figured I'd give as much info as possible to be able to solve this quickly, it's really getting on my nerves. Any help will be much appreciated.
