What I meant was, are we assuming Newtonian mechanics apply, or do we have to calculate the exact value using relativistic mechanics?

If you're only going to three decimal places, relativistic mechanics won't be significant for these velocities. Perhaps I shouldn't comment, I'm not even required to take modern physics.
