Well I'm back. I hadn't had an omelet in forever and it was way, way too much food. How can they seriously think someone can eat one of those gigantic monsters of eggy goodness AND a short stack of pancakes?
I took a quick trip to the grocery store afterwards, which went well until I got home. The little plastic thing holding my six pack of Vernor's came loose, and, long story short, I've now had a ginger ale shower.

Funny you should say that. I mentioned in a coffee thread just now that I'm intolerant to caffeine but I had a couple cups this morning anyway in a desperate bid to stay awake (my sleep schedule is ridiculous--that's pretty much another thread) and I'm definitely going to regret it shortly.

Also: I actually prefer Waffle House when it comes to the food, but the service is better at IHOP. It's a moot point, however, because there's no Waffle House within 50 miles of College Station, TX.

I think I'm going to make pancakes here

ihop actually does have the best pancakes (outside of original pancake house). better than le peep, better than village inn, and slightly better than perkins.

I wasn't impressed with their regular pancakes, the ones I had were really heavy. The cornmeal pancakes were awesomes. As was my southwestern style omlet.
Dammit, now I'm hungry with an hour and a half to go til lunchies.

This deserves its own thread. Those who think Canada Dry is good ginger ale haven't had Vernor's.
