As if it's even possible, No Country for Old Men Golden Globe nominees Ethan and Joel Coen are already plotting their next flick, telling a British newspaper that it will be another Western — though an even more violent one. "There's scalping and hanging," Joel told The Guardian. "It's good. Indians torturing people with ants, cutting their eyelids off." Added director brother Ethan: "It's a proper Western, a real Western, set in the 1870s. It's got a scene that no one will ever forget because of one particular chicken" …

Burn After Reading is an upcoming film, set for release in 2008, starring John Malkovich, George Clooney, Frances McDormand, and Brad Pitt and made by Joel and Ethan Coen. According to the Coens the plot will focus on the world of the CIA, physical fitness in Washington, D.C., and internet dating
Hmm, for some reason this doesn't sound like a Western to me.

found a way to get around it. downloaded some apps and ran some stuff in the command prompt, and guess what, IT WORKED
turns out the movie was 55 minutes of gay/tranny porn
oh well pirates cant be choosers i guess
There's only a cam version out of this film. No dvd screener yet available. I refuse to watch cam versions so I'll patiently wait. Your best bet is usenet. If it's not on there then there sure as hell ain't no torrent of it.

Or you know, you could go pay a couple of bucks and watch it properly on a 50 foot screen with a bad ass sound system.

Well no kidding, they already finished "Burn After Reading". They're talking about their next project they're working on.

Sure I could, if I lived in the US. It's not coming out here until April or so. I want to see it in a cinema. But for some fucked up reason we usually have to wait for shit like this.

In Nicole, he meets someone who appears to be the perfect candidate, but Harry himself becomes enraptured with her, causing his plan to take a series of wrong turns

Agreed. After watching No Country for Old Men theres no one else i want to direct Blood Meridian then the Coen's, especially considering how violent BM is.

Alright, in that case I feel for you.
It's almost unfair to know about great movies that get limited releases or don't play where you live. I'd rather not even know it exists.

Coen Brothers to remake John Wayne's True Grit By Matt Goodlett Following a mixed reception to 2008's Burn After Reading, the Coen Brothers will return with True Grit, the classic Western that won John Wayne an Oscar in 1969. However, the Coens' take on the script will be more faithful to the original Charles Portis novel from which it is adapted. It's the story of a 14-year-old girl who tracks her fathers killer through hostile Indian country with the help of a U.S. Marshall and another lawman.
Reportedly, the Coens were taking on an adaptation of Michael Chabon's sprawling Yiddish Policemen's Union next, but this project will replace its spot in line. The Coens may be trying to get back a bit of the Oscar magic with this film. No Country For Old Men, which won four Academy Awards including best picture, was something of a modern-day western. Also of note is that the Coens will pair again with No Country producer Scott Rudlin.

I want to be excited, but I kinda feel like this will be a No Country pt. deux.
