christmas has become a cultural holiday and its religious aspects have been gradually weeded out. if you think about it, many christmas traditions have nothing to do with christianity. santa, the christmas tree, etc all have pagan origins. there is nothing, as far as i am aware, christian about santa or the tree.
i know plenty of jews, hindus, muslims, and atheists that enjoy christmas just as much as christians.
