Ha! Beat you to it! (I think...couldn't find another thread).
The Seahawks are 1-3 this year vs. winning teams. Do they stand a chance in the Playoffs? If they have a home game (or two!!!) then yes, I think they do. I can't decide who I'd rather see them play...NYG, MIN, WASH, or NO (assuming those teams are all still alive for the wild card - I don't know for sure). And if they lose early...I'll be rooting for the Jaguars.

Agreed. BTW, I'm in a Survivor poll with only 3 of us left that started with 40+ people. It pains me but I'm taking Cleveland week 17. I know they're gonna F me while also f'ing themselves out of the playoffs.
i hope the steelers beat the jaguars, the chargers beat the colts, and dallas doesn't make the super bowl. in the end though i'm especially hoping that none of that will matter anyway.

I think the steelers are to unsteady to beat a jaguars team that is alot better then some people give them credit for, Rivers will make sure that the chargers lose in the first round again wasting yet another brilliant year from LT, and I dont think that any NFC team can beat Dallas.

that's why i said hope, i certainly don't expect any of those things to happen (except for the very last part)

I don't really care who gets the 6 seed in the AFC cause i don't think they're beating San Diego anyway. I do want to see the Jags beat the Steelers cause i think they'll give the Pats quite a battle and at least physically beat them up a bit. I'm pretty happy my team won't be seeing that Jags team unless it's in the AFC Championship game.
Not a big fan of Dallas or Green Bay so i'll probably root for the Skins. The Giants too cause my wife roots for them(although they're a lost cause).

Playoff prediction #1:
This has to prefaced with a regular season prediction. When the Giants play the Pats, a second string defender with something to prove is going to bust through the Pats offensive line and injure Brady - Pats win the game but Brady will be unable to return for the playoffs. Fast forward to the AFC championship game, Colts v. Pats. The Pats have had a nice playoff run with their backup QB but won't make it over the hump against the Colts. Colts go to the big one for the second year in a row.

yea because first string defenders have been able to do that all year

I would have approved of this last year but as the defending champs i want Brady's best when we meet them Jan 20. Beating this Pats team will be quite the accomplishment which makes a win over them so much more glorious. I say bring those fucks at 100%....except Rodney has to stay off the roids the rest of the year, that's all i ask.

If both the Jags and sixth seed win, then the Colts get the Jags in the divisional round.
That's why i said i don't care about who gets the 6 seed. I don't think Cleveland or the Titans have much of a chance against the Chargers. The Titans have no offense and the Browns have no defense.

i can definitely see scenarios where the chargers fall to either team, especially if they fall behind early and have to rely on rivers. i wouldn't bet on it though.

My prediction: Watch out for Jacksonville. They can do some damage.

next to a snow storm, they have the best shot to beat NE in my opinion
they seem built to play in a snow storm, so maybe jacksonville and a snow storm could take new england on.

until they prove otherwise i'll always view jacksonville as a team that always comes up short in big games.
