and santa left the baby a dora the explorer ball pit which she just spent about 5 hours straight in throwing balls all over
now im on the couch with the girl, the wife and the cat watching bad santa. overall a great xmas

i have decided my son is spoiled among other things he got: an ipod nano xbox 360(mind you he already has a wii and a ps2) guitar hero 2 and 3 for the 360 08 sports games for the 360 (madden, fifa, nhl, nba) 4 games for the nintendo ds(the simpsons, mario party, raveman, tony hawk) a bilabong rash guard an element sweatshirt 3 dvd's (the simpsons movie, shrek the 3rd and spongebob atlantis) plus a bunch of books, board games and tech decks
he is the only child in the family...can you tell? the only thing i got him was the nano, guitar hero 3 and some books

Over the summer I had my kitchen remodeled. This is the first Christmas that we told the rest of the family to not expect us for a visit. We stayed home and I cooked. And it's the first Christmas dinner I've prepared completely on my own. I aim to do it every year from here on out. Until I get tired of doing the cooking every year.

I got an ear infection that spread into my lymph nodes and throat that landed me in the ER Sunday and alone in bed through all of Christmas festivities. I still haven't seen Brad (as he was in the ER SATURDAY finding out he has walking pnemonia, which didn't stop his mom from keeping him out at his brother's until after 11 last night), and I only have half a sick day, so I've gotta be here at work until at least noon, sans pain medication because it makes me too drowsy to function.
