Now from where I'm sitting every second word on that list is spelt correctly, however, courtesy of the US-centric internet my computer is telling me that every first word is correct.

I know it's not what the original poster was talking about but it's (a) related and (b) as annoying as fuck (to me at least).

Then again it's your (America's) internet, the rest of the world just borrow it. Australia is ".com.au", everywhere else is ".com.something". The grand old US of A? Well, they're just ".com" cause they're the centre of the world.
