I think I might dislike him and his clique more than most Republicans.

Methinks Mr. Clinton's campaign manners are not very presidential.

my cousin met him a few years back, at a party...her b/f was some high level campaign manger for kerry. anyway, she told me he was absolutely magnetic, electric, left her breathless even though she only said hello and had her pic taken with him.

the man has charisma, you cannot deny that.

Was she swayed by his personality or the fact that it's Bill Clinton?

The Clintons....thing is, I can't stand the way they present themselves and I cringe when Hillary talks, but in terms only of legislation I find them a step above the average politician. I rarely waste time with anything besides voting records, so it's the little things in there that I admire. I'm still annoyed that Obama voted for a border fence, and that he opts not to vote on so many contentious issues.

Kind of a difficult way to evaluate a former member of the Executive Branch, no?

You can certainly evaluate a former Chief Executive by the legislation that he championed, helped shape and signed, and also by the nature and type of his executive orders.
