I ran face first into a wall when I was 12, and as a result I have a cap on a front tooth. Now the thing underneath it is little and black and stinky, from what my dentist explained, but it's been about 10 years since I last got the cap reattached. So now I've got this throbbing pain in my "tooth"...not heavy but dull and constant....and the whole thing is loose.
I'm going in ASAP (in dentist land, that's like a month), but I fucking hate tooth pain. It's positively impossible to ignore. Plus any moment I'm pretty sure it's all going to fall out and I'll look like an asshole.
years ago, i bit into a hard tac candy. it seemed to be really crunchy
the next day i tasted blood in my mouth. apparently i cracked my tooth in half and it was cutting the side of my mouth.
i went to the dentist and he looked at it. immediately he asked me what if any drugs i was allergic to because he wanted to give me something very quick for the pain. i told him i wasnt in pain, other than the side of my mouth getting cut from the tooth.
he was shocked, as he showed me the xray, that i was in no pain. i just asked him to pull the damn thing and let me go home, but he couldnt do it.
went to another dentist and he pulled that bitch out for $25 (i had no insurance)
oddly enough, i went to school with his daughter (she and my brother were in the same grade so i knew of her, no know her)
as hes pulling on my tooth (the guy was a clown, he put one foot up next to my head and was playfully pulling saying it wasnt working) he asks if i know his daughter, and i said well i knew of her, but not friends.
why don't you get your ass to a dentist yesterday?? if yours isn't available, ask a friend for a recommendation...come on, did i have to tell you this..tooth pain is unbearable
