no it shouldnt have. brady deserves it, but him favre, even moss and to a lesser extent romo all seem like viable options.
The guy sets TD record and records first 16-0 reg. season record. So tell me, what does it take to get a unanimous vote in your mind? This was obviously some Green Bay writer who is a homer.

i doubt there's ever been or will ever be a unanimous vote because there's always a few people who perform really well in any given year. frankly i'm surprised that moss didn't get some votes, maybe that's a result of his reputation.

Good for him, but he's had it locked up since after the Cowboys game.
Manning was 1 vote short of winning it unanimously in 2004 as well. Someone voted for the Dog Killa that year.

I don't think that I am much of a homer; this is an ridiculous time to be a Boston sports fans, so bragging about the teams unmatched success hardly seems homerish. It's just the facts as they are now.
I've said it before: Yankees are the greatest baseball organization of all-time; Detriot/Montreal is the greatest hockey org of all-time -- I've just named three bitter boston rivals and given them their due credit.
Until Big Papi in '04, I considered Jeter the most clutch playoff baseball player ever. Maybe he still is. Yeah, I'm a homer. I'd get bashed by some boston fans for writing what I just wrote.

These assholes always do this, they never vote unanimously for the baseball HOF either, i guess they don't believe in it or something.
strap that guy to a lie detector test and then we'll find out what he truly believes. If he truly believes Farve was better this year than Brady he ought to be stripped of his job.

If you are saying Papi is hands down without ANY question the greatest playoff clutch player...I think you are wrong. That topic is certainly open to debate. Not a slam dunk. Reggie Jackson would have something to say about this, too.

he doesn't truly believe it. there wasn't any drama to this award, everyone knew it was going to brady so this guy just wanted to throw some props in favre's direction.

I've got an idea for a new game show. Put all 50 of these voters in one room and let the 49 who voted Brady tear the living shit out of the one guy who voted Farve.
That's just irresponsible journalism, what he did. It's cheating hehehheh
The only guy who should/could have gotten any votes besides Brady is Moss. Favre? Please.

Favre's improved play brought the packers into a first round bye, its not like he isn't deserving of a nod. Brady has been a great quaterback this season, but would he be without Moss? Its not unfathomable that Brett Favre gets a vote.
