I've decided just to post the top 50 albums, because there wasn't much difference in the scores of the lower albums to make it worthwhile. So i'll post 10 albums per day and get this done by the end of the week. I'll post the entire list once all is done.
This year there were 35 lists entered, containing 223 unique albums.

that baroness album is superb, thought NY would have made it a bit higher up, i love CDII
Twilight Sad iv never really been able to get into which is a bit of a shame cos people all over the world love them and prob never seen them live... and iv seen them a few times. im sure its the same with some people from seattle who saw PJ live in the early 90s.

they are a metal band they remind me of mastodon and isis with their progressive elements and constantly changing time signatures. my mate intorduced me to them last year and they've grown in popularity quite a bit but i reckon they are gonna be pretty huge in the metal scene. got tickets to see them in 3 weeks

I have had the pleasure of seeing them mulitiple times over the past two years since they play this area often and I can tell you they fuckin bring it live.
as for them being another sludge band.... i can see where that could come from espcially if your only familar with their two ep's first & second, but the Red Album seems a little more to me then a typical band that would just be given the term a "sludge band". Now i'm not the expert but i think these guys are pretty cool and i loved the Red album.
