i am addicted to crossword puzzles. absolutely addicted. new york times has the most challenging and interesting puzzles by far, but I'd be lying if i said i could complete a thursday without any help. don't even get me started on the gimmicky puzzles. there are puzzles out there that ask you to not only fill in the clues, but the numbering and spacing between the clues as well. no thank you.

i'm the same way. though when i do the ones in books with the answer keys in the back, i find myself peeking after i've filled in a word just to make sure it's right. i feel terrible when it's not, but i regretably correct myself.

really though, if you use things to help you, you are only cheating yourself.
