Finishing college....only need to do 2 exams. I dont have to go to the classes. So i have free-time now.

I need to get a job.

It sucks when you arent sure about where do you want to work and everything.

I feel little pressure right now, my parents are cool. But the biggest comes from myself.

If someone has a job offer. :D 8)

Same here...I've applied with approximately 10 or so places already and nothing. I'm working 12 hours a week at a local movie theater.

I could probably work in retail or train to be a manager at a restaurant but that would be extremely gay

i'm remembering when i graduated college and i was feeling fucking lost and really depressed. it's one of the hardest times in life cuz suddenly there's no blueprint of what you're supposed to do anymore..think about it,since preschool, you've always known what you would do next. that is, until college ends. suddenly, it's like, ok, you're out there on your own now...it's fucking scary...

so my advice is to be patient with yourselves and understand that those feelings may be there. also, take your time choosing what you want to do next; whatever it is, don't look at it as, "this is my life forever". if you have the means, experiment and explore. get to know yourself; what you truly like and what you don't...it's time to start separating what is true about you from what other people have told you is true.

so, bottom line, be patient with yourselves, expect some confusion and fear, but get past it. and most importantly, explore your options...don't get stuck. keep on movin' and learn more about who you are :)

...and by that I mean I know plenty of art/philosophy/soc/poly-sci/anthropology/history majors who were just as if not far, far more capable than some chum with a marketing degree of being a productive member of the workforce. But that dude who studied business is more likely to get a steady job w/ benefits immediately leaving college. There are a lot of gray areas in this theory, but basically this country has little use and basically no support system for people who don't partake in the free-for-all.

and therefore you see a lot of them end up in grad school, and probably stuck in some academic hell-hole for the rest of their lives

your idea of employable degrees is different from those hiring, then.
