I'm sorry for you folks in the Southern Hemisphere if you feel that being 'below' the Northern Hemisphere makes you somehow inferior, but I'm afraid that their relative positions are best described as such. To consider South to be 'up' might require changing the rules of vector multiplication, and thats just no good.

I live on the coast of central California, we don't believe in winter here.
