I don't think that's correct. It was the uneducated with nothing to lose that the Founding Fathers didn't want voting themselves ever larger portions of the treasury and the nation into bankruptcy.

You should be much higher, #1 would be appropriate. Otherwise I like the list.
Also, it is the people who invoke the Founding Fathers, not the Founding Fathers themselves, who should be on that list. It's hard to blame them for things happening 200 years after they were in power.
