So I have a decent dvd collection, however i have few box sets. Not TV shows but movies mind you and i was hoping that some of you could recomend me some good ones becuase im tired of looking at my collection and seeing a bunch of lame packaged single movies.
(O btw this idea also came to me when i saw merc post a pic of the grindhouse box set, if you havent seen it go over to that thread its amazing )
Sam Peckinpah Westerns Val Lewton Horror John Ford/John Wayne Several of the "Signature" collections (especially the Bogart and Cagney ones) Bogart/Baccall Any of the Film Noir Classics Sets (especially the first two) Dawn of the Dead - Ultimate Edition pretty much any set Criterion has put out

The Sin City one with the theatrical, seperate story unrated and Hard Goodbye mini graphic novel is a pretty nice one as well.

FutureShop in Canada was selling those for $9.99 boxing week. I was thoroughly pissed. It's back up to $30 now but I remember paying more than that when it came out.

I have that one... And the thing about it I love the most is I can watch the movie with the texas premiere audience reactions.
He did the same thing with the dvd release of Planet Terror. It's definitely interesting to have it on while you watch the film.
