i'm rereading a rather interesting book by mr. alan dershowitz regarding the beliefs of specifically thomas jefferson but also his colleagues who helped to shape the declaration and it's astonishing -- put aside your thoughts on dershowitz, because he lays out jefferson's own words -- to see how this document has been abused over the years considering those beliefs.

Unfortunately, it's so elementary, and the big time investors behind the drive in the stock market aren't so stupid. This isn't the false economy of 2000.
looks like we have two books here from the same author on seemingly the same exact topic. hm.

haha.
i wonder how much overlap there is. the book i have does at times get a little messy: he runs sentences through using multiple smaller quotes instead of bigger ones, repeats himself, has some ideas that don't seem completely organized and/or fleshed out. but it still works.

Dershowitz does have some really shitty opinions regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, Noam Chomsky has thoroughly dispatched him in a few debates on Democracy Now from the last couple years

true, but that doesn't discount his arguments on this specific topic, which are important and correct.
