Yo Philly Locals -

Anyone going to Grape Street to check out No Code on Sat? I'm kind of on the fence about it. I'm sick, I should stay home. But my friend Cathy wants to check them out (finally), but we're pretty loyal Five Against One fans. Bryan has let the "ed" of No Code bust out some tunes at 5v1 shows and he left me much much underwhelmed.

However, I don't have anything better to do, so I may wander down, was just wondering if any other philly/s jersey RMers were going.

That was probably 5v1. I was there, too. I LOVE 5v1, they're really great guys.

Hmmm, can't pass up Finnigans? Seriously? Not even if *I'M* there? LOL. Last time I was at Finnigans it was for Preston And Steve's benefit for the police dept. It was SO CROWDED I couldn't walk . . . freaked me out.

We should set up a mini RM meetup at one of the next 5v1 shows. I know they're playing at Tom and Jerry's soon, and the new Currans on Bristol Pike. I will definitely be at both.

I've only seen them once or twice. And I'm not promising a good show from No Code, I've never seen them as a whole band, and I haven't heard raving reviews. But PJ people together is always a good time. :nice:

I just got a great mental image of CB trying to party w/ a bunch of homeless people under the WWB. :haha:

Yes - for the record, the b/f and I are totally and officially SPLIT. Our only current communication is limited strictly to Text Message and Mailbox transactions (I get his union mail, and he's on my cell phone plan). So I am most definitely single (for the first time in 5 years! EEK!) and on the prowl. :naughty: I've got some making up to do.

But no making out just yet, til I get the tests back from the Dr.

Unless you've had mono already before. Then all is good. :nice: :haha:

We had a single's mixer there in August. The effin Bud Girl never showed and I got stuck at the minibar opening free beer for 2 1/2 hours. I still have a scar from where I sliced open my finger. I didn't get to get my flirt on. But it was 90* out and I got to play in ice all night and I made $5 in tips.

Good times. LOL

Totally. I'm desperate, irresponsible unwilling to commit and on the rebound. Don't you guys like, dream of chicks like me?

of course we do, but its not so much you being desperate and irresponsible as it is about you being beautiful and smart

Yep. First beer is always free, usually from whoever sponsors it. We always have free food too. Last one was CocaCola for some reason, but i was the only one that was actually excited about that. LOL
